Faxon in the Studio

Imagination           Delight           Surprise

Faxon's studio is a potpourri of plants, living material from the seashore and woodlands. Large shards of Mexican clay pots, pieces of granite, re-cycled copper and hollowed out birch bark fill the space. Extra long bear grass and large-leaf foliage "sit" in buckets beside newly harvested grape vines and bittersweet. She uses these materials to create visual delight and to make the infrastructure needed to sculpt an arrangement.
